We've decided that since the flight is going to be a nightmare, we've changed our plans to take the train home. We've heard there isn't any problems at the train station, due to the worst winter storm China has had in over a half century....
Here are some highlights:
- Not much to report, other than it's raining AGAIN!
- Kayla finally found a Starbucks.
- Anli got some squeaky shoes and she likes them this time, unlike when we were here 2 years ago.
- Carli is still trying to figure out how to eat, chew, swallow, poop, etc. (you know... all those vital things to stay healthy)
- All kidding aside, we are very concerned that she still hasn't had a bowel movement and we've been to 3 doctors. We have her on tea, medicine.. but still nothing. But I guess to poop; you've got to eat...
- We've decided to wean Carli off her bottle; she's almost 3 for goodness sake. We were going to wait until we got home to make the change, but we can't take it anymore watching a 3 year old rely on a bottle for subprime nutrients.
- I've found the best chili I've ever had, and that's all I've eaten in the last 2 days. Good Stuff.
- Have no clue what we're going to do today, it's only 8:30AM here and we're already at our wit's end.
- No DVD in the room and I fried the one we brought by using the wrong converter, so no Dora.
- It's almost impossible to get both girls to look at the camera at the same time!
- Did I mention it's raining????
"Carli, tell everyone that we'll be home soon!"

Oh gosh! We've been thinking about you here...and shivering! The weather crisis in China is all over the news. Carli is a cutie pie! Safe travels home, and thanks for the update and pics :-)
