Playdate

We've been fortunate to have a few playdates with Maizie and Bo. Jeff and Carrie returned home from China with Bo the day after we left for China, so we just missed each other. The kids have a great time playing together! Sharing some cookies before our guests arrive.

All dressed up and nowhere to go

Fluffy bathrobes - Carli is still petrified of the water, but loves the lotion and bathrobe that comes afterwards. We have to drag AnLi out of the tub as she thinks it's her swimming pool. Tonight as I was trying to get her out she said, "Just two minutes. I have to do something very, very important." Then she did the backfloat for about five minutes. Maybe that's something that the swimming instructor told her she needed work on, or maybe just a great stall tactic?

The girls LOVE the JibJab videos. We have to watch the two on our blog, along with the two on our big family blog, several times a day. Over and over and over again. They absolutely love watching them! AnLi was practicing her moves in the Papa video tonight, which made for a lot of splatting on the floor. :) Thanks, Ko!

Carli has progressed so much! She used to have 90% of the food on the tray, her face, her lap and bib. She now gets 90% in her mouth! What a big girl!!!!

The girls got a Valentine's Day box with lots of goodies in it from Aunt Beth, Uncle Greg and Steven. THANKS! The girls loved everything, especially the pens with the bubbles on the inside. They are a hit!

Finally some pics, but out of order!

I finally found the right cord so that we could upload some pictures. They are really out of order, though. I guess I should let Kolene do these postings. :) Some pictures are from our last few days in GZ. The most recent are from Saturday. We were getting a little cabin fever, and it's too cold to go outside, so we went to PlayDaze and met up with some of our family. The girls had a blast! AnLi was asleep before we left the parking lot and Carli fell asleep about five blocks later. Carli is an amazing little girl! She has just melted everyone's hearts and is adjusting very, very well. We couldn't have asked for a smoother transition!

Go ahead, eat your pizza. I'm perfectly fine with this oatmeal cookie!
